John grew up in Atlanta Unity and was ordained in 1976. He served as Senior Minister two years each in Jacksonville, Florida and Santa Rosa, California before

moving to Unity Village, Missouri where he served

as Administrative Assistant ('79-'84) and
Director ('84-91) for Silent Unity.

John served as Associate Minister for Eric Butterworth at Unity Center of Practical Christianity in New York for six months before moving to Hawaii to serve as

Senior Minister in 1991.

John has been Vice President of the Board of Trustees

of Unity School of Christianity for nearly ten years,

Chairman of the Board of the Association of Unity Churches

in '98/'99, and was the Unity movement's only delegate to

the Parliament of the World's Religions in Cape Town,

South Africa in 1999.

John and his wife were delegates to the Parliament of the World's Religions in Barcelona, Spain in 2004. John is the President of North Dekalb Rotary (Atlanta area) in 2007/2008.

Rev. John’s Prayer for Abundance:

God’s economy is not dependent on the vagaries of oil prices,
the value of the dollar or the Dow Jones Average. God’s
economy is always positive. I am God’s beloved child.
Therefore, I live in God’s world, in accordance with God’s
laws, under God’s economic principles.
